Rebecca Conran, CHHC: Holistic Recovery Coach
My unique journey, qualifications, and the profound experiences that shaped my dedication to holistic cult recovery. Learn how my personal healing informs my transformative approach to coaching.
From Darkness to Peace
Born and raised within the strictures of Jehovah's Witnesses, with a father who was an elder and national speaker, I intimately understood the fear and degradation that orthodox religion can inflict. Leaving at 16, I faced a world without support, family, or life experience, plunging into a challenging struggle for survival and mental illness. You might not guess I'm in my forties and a former meth addict, but that's the profound power of holistic wellness—it allows healing at a cellular level.
For decades, I felt lost and deeply depressed, swinging between extreme highs and lows. I used promiscuous sex, codependent and violent relationships, drugs, alcohol, eating, not eating, shopping, work, and even new age spirituality as desperate attempts to escape the dark void within, including surviving multiple suicide attempts. My path has been one of profound suffering but also of incredible resilience and healing.
My Trauma-Informed Holistic Recovery Approach
Through my own extensive healing, I came to understand that true transformation is rarely the result of a single modality. What I practice today is an integrative approach, deeply shaped by my lived experience, rigorous study and certifications, and years of personal healing work. I firmly believe that the best healing practice comes from someone who has first healed themselves and, through that profound process, become an authentic guide for others.
Everything I offer comes from direct experience. I have navigated profound suffering and painstakingly rebuilt a life rooted in purpose, clarity, and deep fulfillment.
My coaching method helps people recover from cult experiences by addressing the whole person, integrating mind, body, and spirit to foster lasting change.
My qualifications and commitment
